Basic rules
20. The player strikes the shuttle service from his own court diagonally to the opponent
21. As soon as the shuttle hits the ground, the game is stopped. Depending on whether the shuttle is in/on the lines (in) or outside the lines (out) is being assessed how the game continues. If the shuttle is on the ground by a failure of the service player, the service will be transferred to the other player and gives that player a point. If the fault is made by the opponent, the service player remains a point, and keeps the service
22. The service player has one change for his service. When he makes a fault, the service goes to the other player
23. A similar number is served from the right service court, in an odd number from the left
24. If the referee is not sure whether he made the right decision, he can give let. A let means that played point should be replayed
Points
2 points for a winning match
0 points for a lost game or by disqualification
Poule
When the players in the group stage has an equal number of points, first the points difference counts
– Example: 47 points for and 41 points against counts as + 6.
If the points difference is equal, the number of scored points is counting
When the number of scored points is also equal, the mutual result counts
During the tournament the house rules and general terms and condition of the Euro Armenian Games are applicable.
