Futsal
General
1. An indoor soccer team consists of 8 players and 1 coach
2. Each team may not have more than 1 non-Armenian player in the team
3. The “standard” size court is 40 m × 20 m
4. A coin toss determines which team starts with ball
5. The flooring is based on hard material
Group stage
6. The game length is determined by the EAG host
7. It is played 5 against 5 (including keeper)
8. It is played with an indoor futsal ball (a size 4 football that hardly bounces)
9. There may be unlimited substitutions
10. After the final whistle playing the group stage match without a winner, the match ends in a draw
11. Not showing up on time (EAG schedule) means automatic loss of the game
Finales (1/8, quarter and half final)
12. The knock out stage structure is determined by the EAG host, depending on the total amount of teams
13. The game length during the knock out stage are determined by the EAG host
14. It is played 5 against 5 (including keeper)
15. It is played with an indoor futsal ball (a size 4 football that hardly bounces)
16. There may be unlimited substitutions
17. After playing without a winner, the match will be decided with 5 penalties. After 5 penalties without a winner knock out penalty will be applied
18. Not showing up on time (EAG schedule) means automatic loss of the game
Final
19. The final games length is determined by the EAG host
20. It is played 5 against 5 (including keeper)
21. It is played with an indoor futsal ball (a size 4 football that hardly bounces)
22. There may be unlimited substitutions
23. After final whistle without a winner, the match will be decided with 5 penalties. After 5 penalties without a winner knock out penalty will be applied
24. Not showing up on time (EAG schedule) means automatic loss of the game
Basic rules
25. Physical contact is prohibited;
– A yellow card means that the player has to leave the field for max. 2 minute (or when the opponent has made a goal)
– A red card means that a player has to leave the field. After a penalty time of 3 minutes, the team can add a new 5th player
– A second red card during the tournament means that this person will be disqualified from the tournament
26. No boarding system but a shoot in system is applied
27. Shoot-in (no throw –in)
28. During shoot-in, the ball must stay at the baseline and both the feet of the person taking this shoot-in must stay outside the futsal field
29. Shoot-in should not be taken after a whistle from the referee, but need to be taken within 4 seconds
30. No sliding is allowed
31. Free kick type depends on the committed foul, that will be decided by the referee:
– Free kick can be taken directly (referee hands low)
– Free kick twice (referee hands high)

33. A valid goal may be scored from the entire playing field
34. When there is a free kick, the opponent has to stand at a minimum distance of 5 meter
35. When there is a shoot-in, the opponent has to stand at a minimum distance of 5 meter
36. Penalties are taken from the penalty point (6 meter from the target)
37. A maximum of only one pass is allowed to your goalkeeper in case ball possession
38. Reverse on the keeper is allowed only one time
39. The keeper can hold the ball up to 4 seconds in his possession
40. No offside
Points
3 points for a winning match
1 point for a tie
0 points for a lost game or by disqualification
Poule
When teams in the group stage has an equal number of points, first the goal difference counts
– Example: 3 goals for and 1 goal against counts as + 2
If the goal difference is equal, the number of scored goals is counting
When the number of scored goals is also equal, the mutual result counts
When there are also the same mutual result, penalties will be taken to decide who finishes higher
During the tournament the house rules and general terms and condition of the Euro Armenian Games are applicable.
